I am waiting for the office to call to schedule the EGD and Richard is taking a nap.
I would like to tell you all about a side of me you have not heard much about , as an adoption searcher I have helped many to find their birthfamilies and children lost to adoption......
There is a wonderful young lady, Staci , who I have been working on her search for several years now. It came to a halt as various events, sicknesses and Life hindered us. Anyways, yesterday, I opened the mail and there was a sweet Mother's Day card from her and I called to thank her and found out that the missing piece we needed was there! Yes, I could hardly wait to start back in from this new viewpoint of information and last night I found Staci's birthmother and 2 sisters ! Now, the problem :Everybody has unlisted phones so I am on my way to P.O. as soon as I hear from Dr. office to mail a letter to a sister who I have a definite confirmation of her address. I am very happy for Staci and hope to meet her in person someday. I have the Ohio birth indexes and I help any Ohio searches free of charge because I don't think you can put a price on finding somebody's family.
I told you that just to let you know that even the stuff that has gone on and is ongoing in my life, I refuse to sit and fixate on just the situation. It does not help and for me, it is not what I want to be.
