Today is my Dad ( and Richard's "Kidney-Dad's" 81rst Birthday. The pic above is on Mom's 80th birthday a few years back. I had us picked up in a limousine which is where they are in the picture. It was my first ride in a limousine since I was a baby coming home from the hospital.
Last year, I took Richard to dialysis, picked up Mom & Dad and took them to Argosy. My Dad won a jackpot; I asked a casino host to take his photo and it was put in a card for him to keep. Here he is when he won, waiting for them to come to pay him his $$$ :
We all had dinner that night at a wonderful restaurant " The Houston" and I remember wondering what the year would hold for all of us. Well, we all made it and that is the important thing.
