My Mom had a little trip to the ER yesterday after she had broke out in a rash and was a mess with a fever and looking like a wreck. So at 6:00PM we toddled up to the hospital.
At 6:15PM, they announced that no one was to go back behind doors because of a trauma case. My beagle ears came in handy; I heard the rough details: A double gunshot , head and stomach, drug related. ( story to be continued)
continued----Anyway, my Mom saw the secret button that opens the doors and dontcha know that she started telling these people who were banging on the door where it was and to push it to get in! (gulp) I could see that the immediate family was talking to a social worker type in a room in there; I figured it was for organ donation. Back to story: I told Mom not to do that anymore because the nurse kept bringing people OUT and telling them to wait outside. But of course she didn't so I have decided that is a plus of being old;you can do whatever you want. P.S. Mom is okay now. Dr. gave her RX and cream.
